Part of the "Under Lock and Key Collection":

A genuine vintage escutcheon (lock plate) has been copper electroformed with vintage filagree, and paired with a mottled blue and green labradorite, with a tiny flash of orange.

Although this is a huge stone, there are some surface imperfections, which is reflected in the price.

Chain accented by faceted iridescent Green beaded chain.

Dimensions:

Pendant: 2.25" at widest point x 4" long
Chain: 17"

Labradorite:

A man is like a bit of labradorite spar, which has no luster as you turn it in your hand until you come to a particular angle; then it shows deep and beautiful colors.
~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

The Labradorite crystal meaning can be traced back to the native Inuit peoples of icy Canada who believed the stone was created from frozen fire, a result of aurora borealis. With its flashy hues that shimmer in a range of iridescent blues and greens, Labradorite reminds us to keep it magical by linking us to the spirit world, a dimension where anything is possible. For self-discovery, it is excellent for awakening one's own awareness of inner spirit, intuition and psychic abilities.
